The square is situated in the city centre,  having a strategic position inside the urban fabric.

It is the link between the new city and 

the old one.

The proposal is a  multifunctional pattern, connecting different spaces 

and establishing routes that link to other areas of the city.

New activities have been added, 

artesany narket, open air exhibitions.

  

Public spaces are reactivated  through new shadowed  areas, increasing the green  and number 

of trees, adding playgrounds, in order  keeping the public space busy and live.

The new square has a low energy impact, new PV cells are situated on the new pergols, giving shadow and energy  that can be used at night time

We also proposed an educational program, in order to make citiziens aware about

recycling, well-use of water and kwoledge of vegetation spices, using these new urban identity.
